Outboard Power in an Elegant Dayboat.

Our new Williams 29 is the perfect package of elegance and performance. An open, outboard-powered, center-console dayboat combines graceful lines with modern components and an updated powerplant. Designed in collaboration with Doug Zurn of Zurn Yacht Design, in Marblehead, Massachusetts, we had a vision for a smaller dayboat that would embody the “right” charm and feel while providing the convenience, performance, and features of a modern outboard planning boat.

Our molded biaxial fiberglass and cored hull feature a generous tumblehome and a sheerline that rises dramatically to the bow, which has hard chines flanking a soft entry. Brightly varnished wood trim offers a feeling of elegance. Features include a private enclosed head and comfortable seating for guests, with cup holders.

There’s plenty of storage for refreshments and toys or fishing gear. The model comes with your choice of the center console and dual console deck layouts, both featuring forward and aft seating areas with under-seat storage lockers, hi-low tables, teak decking, day head, wet bar with fridge, forward dodger, and a soft-top or fixed-top options for shade.

Outboards are a great option for maximizing entertainment space. Outboards are easy to tilt up for maintenance, repairs, freeing up the prop from that lobster line, and beaching the boat for an island picnic.

Buyers can choose single or twin outboard motors, from 150 to 425 horsepower. With 300 horsepower, the boat has the potential to achieve a top speed of over 36 knots. Joystick piloting comes with the twin outboard configuration. The boat is fitted with a 25-gallon waste tank with a macerator pump and deck pump-out.
