Manufacturer Provided Description

The C.W. Hood Katama 30 was designed primarily for use as a high-performance classic weekender, racing syndicate, or commuter yacht. Because of her superior hull design and her standard bow thruster (which is integrated into the ship’s steering system with the use of a joystick control), the Katama 30 is simple to operate and maneuver. The deck, cockpit, and interior are well thought out with a place for everything onboard. In this design, there is a high priority placed on ergonomic functionality, which consequently gives the owner / operator a predictable, comfortable, and enjoyable boating experience. The Katama 30 combines the best of traditional aesthetics with the finest materials and modern construction techniques available.
